TOP QUOTE
“The opportunity to get competition under our belts on a championship golf course like this is invaluable,” head coach Jay Goble said. “This is the kind of golf course that not only tests your game, but also your mental ability to get through tough shots and tough holes and compete all the way through the golf course. This is the kind of course we would play for a national championship, and it’s hosted two NCAA Championships and numerous major championships in the past, as well as the upcoming 2021 Solheim Cup. Having three players finish top-10 on a course like this in a tournament this strong is very promising for what’s in store for the rest of the year. Having the depth we now have is exciting, and it was really cool to see Elodie, Fiona and Diane play as well as they did.”
