NORMAN, Okla. - Megan SaxvanderWeyden, Cole Hardan and K.C. Sullivan each earned All-Big 12 honors to highlight the first day of the conference championships Friday at John Jacobs Track & Field Complex on the campus of the University of Oklahoma.

“Great job by Megan, K.C., and Cole,” head coach Todd Harbour said. “It is outstanding for all of them. They did a super job, and I’m proud of them.”

SaxvanderWeyden took third in the women’s javelin with a throw of 148-11 (45.38m) to claim her third consecutive all-conference honor. Sullivan also earned All-Big 12 in the javelin with a seventh-place finish, recording a mark of 138-3 (42.13m). It is her first career all-conference honor.

In the men’s hammer throw, Cole Hardan took sixth with a toss of 179-3 (54.63m) to earn All-Big 12 accolades as a freshman.

Baylor continues action at the 2019 Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships Saturday and Sunday.
