Baylor WBB to Host Sendoff For Sweet 16, Open to Public
Fans, public can join Baylor Golden Wave Band, Spirit Squad in sending off team to Greensboro, NC

WACO, Texas – Thursday, as the Baylor women’s basketball staff and players head to the airport for departure to the NCAA Sweet 16 in Greensboro, N.C., fans and the Waco public are invited to a sendoff for the team at 3:30 p.m. outside the Ferrell Center at the practice gyms entrance.

The No. 1-seeded Baylor Lady Bears (33-1) will have a rematch Saturday at 1 p.m. vs. No. 4 seed South Carolina in the program’s 11th-straight trip to the NCAA Sweet 16.

Fans can join the Baylor Golden Wave Band and the Baylor Spirit Squads to send off players and staff in a ceremony outside the Ferrell Center.
