EUGENE, Oregon – Facing its toughest test of the season, the No. 1-ranked Baylor acrobatics and tumbling team defeated the No. 2-ranked Oregon Ducks on the road Sunday, 285.150 to 277.355.

Baylor (4-0) used a strong second-half performance to pull away from the Ducks (3-1) and extend its winning streak to 23 consecutive meets. The Bears scored higher than a 9.75 in 11 of 19 total heats in the meet.

The teams split the first two events, but Baylor held a slight 67.65 to 67.30 advantage after compulsory and acro.

At halftime, the Bears were ahead 97.35 to 96.60 thanks to securing 29.70 points out of a possible 30.00 in the pyramid portion.
