WACO, Texas – Matthew Moorer will represent USA Track & Field on the men’s 4x400-meter relay team Sunday at the 2019 Pan American U20 Championships in San José, Costa Rica.

Moorer, who is entering his sophomore season at Baylor, earned two All-America honors as a freshman on the indoor and outdoor 4x400-meter relay teams. He and the 4x4 took home the Big 12 Championship indoors, and he was also All-Big 12 in the 400 meters at both the indoor and outdoor championships.

The Ypsilanti, Mich., native earned his spot at the Pan American U20 Championships after taking fourth in the 400 meters at the USATF U20 Outdoor Championships in June.
