• Baylor heads to Fort Worth for its 2019 Big 12 Conference opener at 3 p.m. CT Saturday.

• McClure is shooting 42% from the field (up 3% from last year), 39% from 3-point range (up 4%), has nearly doubled his rebounding average to 4.9 rpg (up from 2.5 rpg) and is averaging 2.6 assists per game (up from 1.7 apg).
• McClure has posted 20+ points 3 times this season after doing so in 1 of 100 games over his first 3 years.
• McClure set a program record for rebounds by a guard when he grabbed 14 boards against George Mason (11/24).

MASON BATTLING THROUGH INJURED ANKLE
• Makai Mason<https://baylorbears.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=7071> has started the last 9 games after missing the majority of the previous 2+ seasons due to injury.
• Mason played in only 1 game over his last two seasons at Yale before joining the Bears as a grad transfer. He also missed the first 3 games at Baylor with an ankle injury before debuting as the first grad transfer in program history on Nov. 16.

• Tristan Clark<https://baylorbears.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=7060> posted 17 points on 8-of-9 shooting, added 12 rebounds, 5 blocks and 2 steals to lead the Bears to an 84-44 win over New Orleans on Dec. 29. With his effort, Clark picked up Big 12 Player of the Week honors.
• All five Baylor starters posted multiple steals, as the Bears tied season-highs with 14 steals and 12 blocks.
