WACO, Texas – Baylor men’s golf tees off its spring season at the All-American Intercollegiate, which runs Sunday through Tuesday at Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas. A 14-team field will play three rounds on the 7,067-yard, par-72 course.

No. 37-ranked Baylor matches up against No. 34 South Carolina, No. 49 Ole Miss, Houston, New Mexico State, Charlotte, Louisiana-Lafayette, Rice, North Texas, UTSA, Sam Houston State, McNeese State, Lamar and UT Arlington.

Baylor is playing in the All-American for a fourth consecutive season. The Bears won the tournament title in 2017, took second place in 2018 and placed fourth in 2016.

Baylor’s lineup is led by junior Colin Kober, who is playing in a top-3 spot in the lineup for the first time in his collegiate career. Senior Garrett May is in the No. 2 slot, marking 15 consecutive tournaments playing in one of the top-4 spots in the lineup. Senior Braden Bailey is playing No. 3, extending his streak of appearances in the BU lineup to 43 straight, covering his entire collegiate career.

Junior Cooper Dossey returns to the lineup in the No. 4 spot, marking 10 consecutive tournaments in the top-4 spot in the lineup since returning from an injury during the 2018 spring season. Sophomore Mark Reppe is playing at No. 5, making his first appearance in the BU lineup in a stroke play event. Reppe played No. 4 when the Bears won the inaugural Big 12 Match Play Championship in October, but his seven previous appearances in stroke play tournaments were all as an individual.

Sophomore Ryan Grider and redshirt junior Austin Cotton will compete as individuals. Cotton is making his eighth career appearance, all of which were as individuals, while Grider is playing his 15th tournament over two seasons and his third as an individual.

Five BU players are ranked among the nation’s top 300 collegiate individuals in the latest Golfweek rankings. Grider is No. 194, followed by Dossey at No. 197, Bailey at No. 198, Kober at No. 234 and May at No. 260.

All three rounds are slated for tee times from the first and 10th holes beginning at 8 a.m. CT. Baylor players are paired with golfers from Rice and UTSA and will begin Sunday’s first round from the 10th tee. Reppe is up first at 8 a.m., and he’ll be followed in nine-minute intervals by Dossey, Bailey, May and Kober, respectively. Grider tees off from No. 10 at 9:30 a.m., and Cotton starts from the 10th tee at 9:48 a.m.
