WACO, Texas – The Baylor women’s basketball program, in association with Padlock Book Publishing, will read to students from West Avenue Elementary School in Waco Tuesday morning.



Author Stephen Davis and Lady Bears players and staff will have a short presentation beginning at 9:45 a.m., emphasizing the importance of reading and giving the students a chance to share their favorite books. Then, the Baylor program will read Davis’ latest children’s book Brooke & Collins’ Rainy Day Adventure to groups of students from the school.



Davis and the players will also have a book signing before the Lady Bears split up and read at other schools in the area.



West Avenue Elementary School is located at 1101 N 15th Street in Waco, and media are encouraged to attend the event.
