Baylor Athletics Free “Meet the Bears” Event Set for Aug. 24.
Student-athletes from Baylor football and other sports will gather to meet fans at McLane Stadium this fall.

WACO, Texas – Baylor Athletics invites members of the Waco community and the Baylor family to visit with all their favorite Baylor student-athletes at the annual “Meet the Bears” fan appreciation event, which will be held on Saturday, August 24, from 1 – 3 p.m. CT at McLane Stadium. Student-athletes from Baylor football and various Baylor sports teams will be in attendance to interact with fans and sign autographs. Exclusive "Meet the Bears" posters for this year’s event will be available on site for obtaining autographs.

Head Football Coach Matt Rhule will also make an appearance to sign posters (or one personal item) and take photos with fans.

Fan Fest activities for children include inflatable games, face painting and photo opportunities. Concession stands will be open with snacks and beverages available for purchase.

Football student-athlete autograph lines will be separated by positions and will be located throughout the 100-level concourse, along with the Spirit Squads and other teams. Student-athletes will only sign the exclusive "Meet the Bears" poster.

Admission is free to the public, and free parking will be located in McLane Stadium lot 2. Guests may enter the stadium through Gate C starting at 1 p.m. Bruiser's Locker Room will be open from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and the Sideline Shop across from section 123 will be open during the event with official Baylor merchandise available for purchase. Baylor’s Clear Bag Policy<https://baylorbears.com/documents/2018/8/2/Clear_Bag_Policy.pdf> will be in effect for this event.
