WACO, Texas – Baylor men’s golf signed four student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, completing arguably the best recruiting class in program history. All four golfers signed by head coach Mike McGraw will join the program in the fall of 2019.

Baylor signed Luke Dossey from Austin, Texas, Tyler Isenhart from Geneva, Ill., Johnny Keefer from San Antonio, Texas, and Scout McNealy from Portola Valley, Calif.

“I am really excited about this group of players,” McGraw said. “These are not only great players, but they’re also great young men who will represent Baylor well on the course, in the classroom and in the community.”

Keefer attends Lady Bird Johnson High School in San Antonio, Texas. He’s ranked No. 10 in the 2019 recruiting class and No. 19 overall in the Golfweek/Sagarin junior rankings. Keefer was named a 2018 Rolex second-team All-American and played on the West Team in the 2018 Wyndham Cup.

Keefer also claimed first place at the 2017 AJGA Sergio and Angela Garcia Foundation Junior Championship, the 2017 TJGT Texas Junior Masters and the 2016 AJGA UA Jordan Spieth Qualifier. He took second place in a 117-player field at the 2017 LJT Texas State Junior Championship, and he placed third out of 104 players at the 2016 TJGT Holiday Classic.

Isenhart plays for Geneva Community High School in Geneva, Ill., where he’s helped lead the team to four IHSA 3A state finals appearances. He has won 26 tournaments and posted a 71.9 stroke average during his four-year high school career, earning two all-state selections and four Conference Player of the Year awards.

Isenhart is ranked No. 29 in the 2019 recruiting class and No. 57 overall in the Golfweek/Sagarin junior rankings. A two-time qualifier for the U.S. Amateur, he also won the 2018 AJGA Junior Memorial Tournament and has recorded three second-place finishes as AJGA tournaments.

Dossey is ranked No. 57 in the 2019 recruiting class in the Golfweek/Sagarin junior rankings. The younger brother of Baylor All-American Cooper Dossey, Luke plays for Vandegrift High School in Austin, Texas, the same program that produced current Bears Brandon Hoff and Cooper Dossey.

Luke Dossey won the 2017 Byron Nelson Junior Championship and the 2018 LJT Bluebonnet Championship, was runner-up at the 2017 Bobby Chapman and played on the South Team in the 2017 Jackie Burke Cup. A four-year letterwinner at Vandegrift, Dossey was named all-state as a freshman in 2016 and earned all-district honors in 2016 and 2018. He helped the Vipers to a 2018 runner-up finish at the 6A Texas State Championship.

McNealy will join the Bears out of Portola Valley, Calif., where he attends The Harker School. He qualified for the 2018 California Amateur in a playoff, took second place in the JTNC Tour Championship at Poppy Hills and tied for eighth place in the JTNC Fall Series IV. In 2016, McNealy won tournament titles at the FCWT PGA West and FCWT San Ramon.

McNealy is the youngest of four brothers. His oldest brother, Maverick, was the world’s top-ranked amateur during his 2016-17 senior season at Stanford, when he won the 2017 Ben Hogan and Byron Nelson Awards. Maverick won 11 collegiate tournaments, matching Tiger Woods’ school record. The second-oldest McNealy brother, Dakota, is a junior on the Stanford men’s golf team, and the third McNealy brother, Colt, is a freshman at Stanford.

The quartet of signees will join a Baylor program that loses a pair of All-Americans to graduation following the 2018-19 season. Braden Bailey and Garrett May are both in their senior seasons, which resume on Feb. 17 at the All-American Intercollegiate at Golf Club of Houston.
