WACO, Texas – Baylor University Athletics and Whataburger continued a 13-year tradition last week with the annual Care Bear Drive, spreading holiday cheer and well-wishes to McLane Children's Hospital patients each December.

Lady Bears fans continued their loyal support to the cause, donating over 500 teddy bears at halftime of the Baylor Women’s Basketball game vs. Southern during the “Teddy Bear Toss’.

Over the weekend all teddy bears were delivered to patients at McLane Children's Hospital by a group of Baylor student-athletes representing six different sports programs. In addition, representatives from Whataburger joined the festivities, presenting a $1,000 donation to McLane Children’s Hospital.
