</b>Baylor baseball redshirt senior first baseman Tyce Armstrong has been named the Big 12 Co-Newcomer of the Week, as announced Monday afternoon by the conference office.</span></p>

 and TCU. </span></p>

 the bottom of the 12<sup>th</sup> inning that helped BU to a thrilling 10-9 walk-off win over UTSA. For the night, he went 3-for-6 with four RBIs and scored three runs. </span></p>

 singles. In Sunday’s doubleheader, Armstrong notched three more hits across the two games and scored another run as part of his team-leading seven runs scored on the week.</span></p>

 BU’s single-season home run leaderboard. Armstrong’s 45 RBIs are also the most by a Bear during the Thompson Era. Both his 14 home runs (sixth) and 45 RBIs (10<sup>th</sup>) rank Armstrong inside the Big 12’s top-10.</span></p>

 Armstrong shares this week’s Newcomer honors with Utah’s Cal Miller, while Cincinnati’s Jack Natili was named the league’s Player of the Week and Arizona’s Smith Bailey was tabbed the conference Pitcher of the Week.</span></p>
