awards from the Big 12 conference, winning Special Teams Player and Freshman of the Week after his clutch performance in Dallas to help BU earn a 48-45 win at No. 17/16 SMU.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">In just his third-career game as Baylor's place kicker, Hawkins was clutch in BU's double-overtime victory at No. 17/16 SMU on Saturday. He was a perfect 6-of-6 on extra points,
nailed a 26-yarder in the 3rd quarter and drilled a game-winning 27-yarder in the second overtime period to send the Bears home with the dub.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">Through Week Two, the Liberty Hill, Texas, native has been a perfect three-for-three on field goals with a long of 36 yards against Auburn. On PATs, Hawkins is nine-for-nine
and counting, accumulating 18 points thus far for the Bears. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
