Tuesday by the organization.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black;letter-spacing:.25pt;mso-ligatures:none">Michael Allen, Sidney Fugar, Kyler Jordan, Caleb Parker, Sawyer Robertson, Jack Stone, Keaton Thomas and Josh White each
garnered recognition thanks to their work in the classroom and on the playing field. Robertson and Thomas are also eligible for Academic All-America honors, which will be announced later in January.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

To be considered, one must accumulate a cumulative GPA above 3.50 with at least a sophomore athletic and academic standing, while being a starter or key reserve for their respective team. In football, student-athletes must have competed in 90 percent of their
team’s games played or have started at least 66 percent of games.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black;letter-spacing:.25pt;mso-ligatures:none">A special teams standout from Stilwell, Kan., Allen played in 12 games, primarily serving as the lead blocker on kick returns.
A respected leader in his redshirt sophomore season, Allen holds a 3.95 GPA as a double major in finance and management.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black;letter-spacing:.25pt;mso-ligatures:none">In his first season with the Bears, Fugar took over as the left tackle in Week 6 and started each of the last eight games
for BU, helping to transform the offense. Baylor averaged 37.5 points per game and churned up 484.6 yards per game over its last eight games, improving by over eight points and 115 yards per game. A communications major from Waldorf, Md., Fugar racked up a
3.66 GPA. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black;letter-spacing:.25pt;mso-ligatures:none">For the second-consecutive year, Jordan earned a spot on the CSC Academic All-District Team with a perfect 4.0 GPA. The
accounting and management information systems major also played in all 13 games for the Bears, making two starts and totaling 19 tackles, including two for loss. Jordan also blocked a field goal in the Kinder’s Texas Bowl against LSU, the first of his career.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black;letter-spacing:.25pt;mso-ligatures:none"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black;letter-spacing:.25pt;mso-ligatures:none">A versatile special teamer and contributor at safety, Parker played in all 13 games for BU this season and made 17 tackles,
including one for loss. He added a pair of pass breakups and a blocked kick in his redshirt senior campaign, while maintaining a 3.52 GPA in mechanical engineering with a minor in mathematics.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

The redshirt junior quarterback had a breakout season for the Bears, throwing for 3,071 yards with 28 touchdowns. He ranks sixth all-time in Baylor single-season history for passing touchdowns and seventh in passing yards, while leading the Big 12 and ranking
seventh nationally in QBR (82.9).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

in 75 attempts with an average distance of 63.1 yards on his boots. Stone recorded a 3.92 GPA in finance.

2012. An All-Big 12 First Team selection, Thomas racked up seven TFLs, two sacks and returned an interception for a touchdown in the season opener. In the classroom, Thomas posted a 3.58 GPA as a pre-business major.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
