<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The Bearcats got the first two points on BU errors, but Victoria Davis quickly changed the tone with a kill. The Bears got the block at 4-2 with Alicia Andrew and Jackie Barrett Frazier denying it, Andrew
getting a kill at 5-3. Trying to cut the lead were Allie Sczech, Davis and Kendal Murphy, getting it to one at 7-6. UC kept it moving on their end and got up by two again, Sczech stepping in the way. With kills from Murphy and Davis, the Bears got within one,
and it was Davis and Barrett Frazier that tied it with a block. The Bearcats went on a run and got up by three, Elise McGhee being the one to put a stop to it, 13-11. A slew of serving errors came from both sides, four to be exact, but Andrew got an ace to
be within two, 17-15. Murphy kept that spread until the Bearcats went on a run, going up 21-17, BU calling timeout. Nothing was working for the Bears, and it became Cincinnati set point. An attack error from UC staved it off a point, but a kill ended it, 25-18.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The second frame started much better for the Bears as Davis and Murphy got the block, and Andrew served up an ace next. A 3-1 lead was taken thanks to a Murphy kill, then Davis at 4-2. After two attack errors
from the Bearcats, they called a timeout, down 7-2. Davis was on a roll and got the next Baylor kill out of the timeout, then Andrew surprised UC at 9-4 with a kill. McGhee swung away and got the 10th point of the set, up buy three on the Bearcats.
Andrew served her third ace of the set for BU to be up 12-7, but UC matched it and had a kill and block to catch up quickly. Davis kept at it and got a kill, up 13-10 then 14-11. The Bears put a stop to it and scored four-straight thanks to Davis’ kill, one
from McGhee, as well as a Murphy ace and a block from Davis and McGhee; the Bearcats calling timeout at 17-11. The Bears kept them scrambling, McGhee getting BU to the 20th point with two kills before UC delivered a block. Murphy had a kill, then
Andrew, then Sczech and Davis helped propel the Bears to the end of the set, getting a block at 23-15. Davis got set point with a kill, and it was Murphy who ended it in BU’s favor, 25-16.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

and Sczech recorded kills, keeping it within one. McGhee scored again, but UC went on another three-point run, the Bears calling time at 11-7. Andrew got the kill out of it, Cincy recorded two more, then Sczech delivered a blow before a block from Davis and
Murphy at 13-10. Cutting the lead were Davis and McGhee, then Andrew made it a two-point set with a joust, 15-13. An ace from Lauren Briseño brought BU within one, Cincy calling timeout. Whittling it away, McGhee swung for the moon and then Sczech. McGhee
got a solo block and Barrett Frazier served two aces in a row, now up 19-17, prompting a Bearcat timeout. Out of it came two points for UC, but McGhee redeemed one for herself. Andrew had them not knowing what hit them with a kill, then McGhee connected again
after a block, 22-21. Cincy tied it, but then Grace Carroll and Davis got the block. It was Carroll’s two kills that finished the set for Baylor, 25-23.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

footing. McGhee kept it within one with a kill, down 11-10, but then damage was done. UC went on a three-point run into the media timeout, up 15-11. The Bearcats got a block out of it but then Barrett Frazier threw them for a loop with a setter dump. She had
another, this time a backset, still down 18-13. Baylor called timeout at 19-13. Murphy got her 10th kill of the afternoon but Cincy was on a roll. McGhee and Murphy continued to try and lessen the damage, but UC got set point at 24-16. Baylor saw
an attack error to hold them off, but a service error ended the set, 25-17. <o:p>
