Goble announced Monday.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black;background:white">“Malena brings a significant amount of international tournament golf experience to our team,” Goble said. “She will start at Baylor in January and will help us build a strong team in preparation
for the postseason. I see her being a fixture in our lineup for many years to come.”<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black;background:white"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black;background:white">A native of General Pico, Argentina, Castro has had a strong season, notching seven top-5 finishes in 2024, highlighted by a pair of second-place finishes on the Argentina Golf Association circuit.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black;background:white">Currently ranked 474<sup>th</sup> in the Women’s World Amateur Golf Ranking, she has played 44 events over the past two years with 34 top-10 finishes and six wins. Last December, she won the IMG
Academy Junior World Florida Challenge and followed it up with a 10<sup>th</sup>-place finish at the First Tee Miami Doral Junior and a 14<sup>th</sup>-place finish against a strong field at the Junior Orange Bowl International.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
