<p><b>Story lines</b></p>
<p>• No. 9/9 Baylor travels to Manhattan for its only regular-season meeting with Kansas State for a 7 p.m. tip on ESPN+.</p>
<p>• Tuesday marks the 51st all-time meeting between these two teams with the series knotted at 25 wins apiece.</p>
<p>• BU is seeking a 4-0 start in conference play for the third time in the last five years and the fifth time in the
<b>Scott Drew </b>Era.</p>
<p>• BU has won seven of the last nine meetings in this series, including three of the last four in Manhattan.</p>
<p>• Baylor had won seven-straight in the series before the Wildcats swept BU as season ago.</p>
<p>• KSU head coach <b>Jerome Tang</b> was a member of Drew's original coaching staff in Waco, and served as an Assistant/Associate Head Coach in Waco for 19 seasons.</p>
<p>• Tang is one of two former <b>Drew</b> assistants coaching in the Big 12 Conference. Texas Tech and
<b>Grant McCasland</b> join <b>Drew</b> and BU as the only remaining undefeated teams in the conference through three games.</p>
<p>• The Bears lead the nation in 3-point FG% (42.2), rank fourth in offensive efficiency (121.3) and 10th in points per game (86.1).</p>
<p>• The Bears have now been ranked in the top-10 for a fifth-straight year, one of just four programs (Duke,
<span class="scayt-misspell-word">Gonzaga</span> and Kansas) to accomplish that feat.</p>
<p>• Ranked in the AP Top-25 for 20-straight weeks, BU is riding the nation's eighth-longest active streak and the third-longest in the Big 12 (Houston 75, Kansas 54).</p>
<p>• Baylor is 68-49 in Big 12 road games since 2012, second-best in the league behind only Kansas (73-45).</p>
<p>• Baylor's 57-18 Big 12 record over the last five seasons is the best record of any power-conference team.</p>
<p>• Baylor's 309-119 record since 2011-12 trails only Kansas (347-88) among Big 12 teams.</p>
<p>• Last time out, despite its lowest offensive output of the season, the Bears improved to 3-0 with a 62-59 win over Cincinnati to remain unbeaten at Foster Pavilion.</p>
<p>• <b>Langston Love</b> led the way with 11 of his 14 points coming in the first-half, while
<b>Ja'Kobe Walter </b>scored all 14 of his points in the second half to secure the win over the Bearcats.</p>
<p>• The Bears beat BYU 81-72 in the conference home opener, building on their nations-best 28-12 record against vs. AP top-25 teams over the last five years.</p>
<p>• Trailing by as many as nine with 17:19 to play in the second half, BU used a 10-0 run over the next four minutes to take back the lead and were able to hold off the Cougars down the stretch.</p>
<p>• BU committed a season-low five turnovers against BYU, its fewest since only losing it just three times against Texas Tech last season (2/4/23).</p>
<p>• In the conference opener, BU outlasted a feisty Oklahoma State squad 75-70 in overtime for its ninth-straight win at Gallagher-Iba Arena. </p>
<p>• Despite only hitting two three-pointers, the nation's leading 3-point shooting team out-rebounded the Pokes on the offensive glass 16-5, giving them a 12-6 advantage in second-chance points.</p>
<p>• The win was Baylor's first overtime victory since it won 66-64 in Stillwater on Feb 21, 2022. </p>
