Initially scheduled for 7 pm, the Continental Tire Motor City Invitational was moved to avoid conflict with the Detroit Lions NFL game against the Denver Broncos, which was flexed to Saturday night Dec. 16, at 7:15 pm CT. Detroit's Little Caesars Arena and
Ford Field are in very close proximity, and the switch will help alleviate the congestion associated with the two high-profile events taking place simultaneously.</p>

BU owns a 2-0 record all-time against the Spartans, with both meetings coming at the Battle “4” Atlantis in the Bahamas. Little Caesars Arena is home to the NBA’s Detroit Pistons and is one of three NBA arenas Baylor is scheduled to play in this season. It
will also host the Midwest Regional Final in this season’s NCAA Tournament. </p>

Prior to the Motor City Invitational, Baylor will close a two-game homestand beginning Saturday evening with a 5 pm tip against the Northwestern State Demons at the Ferrell Center. The Bears will then host Seton Hall on Tuesday in a nationally-televised contest,
slated for 8 pm on ESPN2 with Pete Sousa and Fran Fraschilla on the call. </p>
