<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">• Head Coach Dana Holgorsen is in his fifth season with the Cougars after a decorated career as the head coach at West Virginia, where he went 5-2 against the Bears in his
career. Holgorsen previously served as the OC at Houston from 2008-09 after three different roles with Texas Tech from 2000-07 and a season as the OC at Oklahoma State (2010). He got his start in coaching for the inventor of the Air Raid, Hal Mumme at Valdosta
Stat from 1993-95.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">• Doug Belk is the associate head coach and DC and is in his fifth year in the role, also coaching safeties during his time in Houston. He previously coached corners at WVU
from 2017-18 and the secondary at Valdosta State from 2011-13. Mark Scott is the special teams coordinator and is in his fifth year after spending the 2012-18 seasons at WVU. UH does not have an offensive coordinator title on its staff.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">• Houston is averaging 25.3 points per game, allowing 32.5. UH is averaging 382.9 yards of total offense, including 116.4 on the ground and 266.5 in the air. Defensively,
the Cougs are allowing 416.1 yards of total offense, including 254.5 in the air and 161.6 on the ground.

scores, while Smith has added 187 yards rushing and four TDs. Samuel Brown has 45 catches for 678 yards with two TDs, with Matthew Golden owning 37 catches for 389 yards and six scores. Defensively, Malik Robinson and AJ Haulcy each have 61 tackles. Nelson
Ceaser has 5.5 sacks and eight tackles for a loss, while Isaiah Hamilton and Malik Fleming each have three picks.
