hires for its Athletic Medicine team. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">“Over the past year, we’ve had the opportunity to continue our investment in the care of our student-athletes with the hiring of new, talented healthcare providers and recognize
the successes of other current staff with promotions,” Executive Senior Associate AD for Student-Athlete Services Kenny Boyd said. “I am thankful for the unwavering support Mack (Rhoades) has provided to our Athletic Medicine staff and the ability to couple
increasing staff with our partners at Southwest Sports Medicine and Orthopedics to provide high quality medical care.”<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The Athletic Medicine team is be led by Associate AD Carrie Rubertino-Shearer, who moved into her new role as the department head in August of 2021. She has been on the staff
since March of 2018, also serving as the Director of Rehabilitation Services and as the Assistant AD for Athletic Medicine. She has previously gained experience on the medical staff of North Carolina, UCLA, Santa Clara, Stanford, Auburn and Ohio State.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The Bears added Tim Pike as the Assistant AD for Athletic Medicine, working directly with football. Pike joins the Baylor staff after serving as the head athletic trainer
at Miami (Fla.) in 2022, which followed five years in the same role at Syracuse. He also served in the same role at Marshall and Eastern Kentucky. Pike got his start as a student athletic trainer at Kentucky, earning his advanced degree from North Carolina
in 2003. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Kevin Robinson has been promoted to Director of Athletic Medicine, specializing in Clinical Care. He has served as an athletic trainer for Baylor Athletics for over 20 years
most recently working with Track & Field/Cross Country. As part of his new role and leaning on the experiences as an athletic trainer for over years, Robinson will work closely with team physicians, Rubertino-Shearer and the rest of the Athletic Medicine
staff to advance the healthcare resources for student-athletes.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Baylor has also added physical therapist, Jeremy Frazier. This marks his second stint with the Bears after serving in a pair of roles since Jan. of 2022. His current position
will work with Baylor’s athletic trainers to provide rehabilitation support for student-athletes throughout BU’s sport programs.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Lauren Griffin has been added as a new athletic trainer for Baylor Tennis, working with both programs. Griffin previously spent two seasons as the athletic trainer for West
Virginia, working directly with soccer and swimming & diving, in addition to a role as the physical therapist.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
