volleyball team swept Pacific in three sets on Sunday morning at Moby Arena, 3-0.

<p class="MsoBodyText" align="left" style="text-align:left"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The Bears finished the Ram Volleyball Classic 3-0, sweeping both Colorado State and Pacific and taking Bowling Green to four.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" align="left" style="text-align:left"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">BU improved to 4-3 while the Tigers became 5-4 after the three-set match. BU took the win at 25-12, 25-23, 25-18.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" align="left" style="text-align:left"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Alicia Andrew started the Bears off with two kills and Averi Carlson got a dump to go up 7-3. Stowers got hot and got a few kills while
Andrew continued to swing and by Pacific’s second timeout, she had four of BU’s 11 kills, with Riley Simpson stepping in off the bench to get two, the Bears up 16-8. Manuela Bibinbe got a kill, and Sczech earned Baylor’s 20<sup>th</sup> point of the set. Stowers
and Sczech teamed up with Simpson to keep pushing toward the finish line of the set, but the set ended on an attack error from the Tigers, 25-12. Baylor held Pacific to a .160 hitting percentage in the first frame.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" align="left" style="text-align:left"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Pacific started the second set with an ace, kill and block to go up 3-0, then 4-2. Needing a spark, Carlson provided it with a kill after
a dump attempt. Simpson then kept momentum moving forward, lessening the gap at 9-6. Sczech went back-to-back with kills at the net and Stowers finished it, now 12-10. Three-straight attack errors by the Tigers put BU back up, 13-12, Pacific calling timeout.
PAC capitalized on some Baylor errors and went back up, 18-14, the Bears asking for time. Elise McGhee entered the match and made an immediate impact, getting a kill, now down three at 19-16. She also got the kill to make it 21-17 and Alexis Dacosta served
up an ace to bring the set within two, 22-20. Down the stretch, Dacosta notched two aces and Stowers had three kills to put BU back ahead. Set point came from Sczech, finishing it at 25-23. Once again, the Bears held the Tigers to a low attack percentage,
this time at .105.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

three in a row before McGhee jumped in and put the Bears up two, 6-4. McGhee continued the tear and got three more kills, now 10-7. Sczech, Stowers and Bibinbe each swung for three more before Stowers had an ace, sending the teams into the media timeout, 15-12.
McGhee made it 17-14 but two kills and another ace from the Tigers closed the gap and tied it at 17-all. The Bears got a kill from McGhee followed by a block from Sczech & Andrew to move ahead by two points, then capitalized on a service error and another
attack error from Pacific, now 21-18, the Tigers calling time. A Bibinbe/Sczech block made it set point, and the Bears finished the sweep on a net violation, 25-18.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
