it was announced on Tuesday afternoon. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Dillon Doyle, Jacob Gall, John Mayers, Brooks Miller, Issac Power and Brayden Utley were each honored with academic all-district accolades. The six are now eligible for Academic All-America honors from CoSIDA.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">A fifth-year senior linebacker, Doyle has been a team leader for the Bears throughout the last two seasons. A native of Iowa City, Iowa, Doyle sports a 3.97 GPA while working on a master’s degree in business
administration. Doyle leads the team in 2022 with 71 tackles, including three QB hurries, two pass break-ups and two interceptions. Over his career – which featured two seasons at Iowa to open his collegiate journey – Doyle has totaled 242 tackles, with 217
coming at BU. He has 11.5 tackles for a loss, three interceptions and two sacks. He also serves as a fullback offensively, owning three catches and two TD grabs, and nine rushes with one TD scamper. Doyle was a preseason All-Big 12 selection by the media,
Athlon, Phil Steele, Dave Campbell’s Texas Football and Pick Six Preview in 2022. He was a nominee for the Campbell Trophy – the top academic award in college football – and on the Bronko Nagurski Trophy Watch List.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Gall, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, is a sixth-year senior offensive lineman who is one of the top centers in college football. He is working on his master’s degree in sports management and owns a 3.58 GPA.
Gall has played in 57 games over his career, including 25 games at Buffalo before journeying to Waco. Gall was a preseason All-American in 2022 by three publications, and earned preseason all-conference from five outlets. He was on the Rimington Trophy and
Outland Trophy Watch List. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">A fifth-year senior place kicker out of Flower Mound, Texas, Mayers owns a 3.89 GPA while working on his master’s degree in sports management. Mayers has gone 7 of 8 in field-goal attempts in 2022 and is
39 of 41 in PATs. He is 4 of 5 from 40-49 yards with a season-long of 49 that served as the difference in Baylor’s win at Oklahoma. Mayers is 33 for 42 in his career in field-goal tries and is 117 for 119 in PATs, ranking tops in program history in field-goal
percentage (78.6). <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Miller, a sophomore linebacker out of West Monroe, La., sports a 3.6 GPA while working on his degree in health, kinesiology and leisure studies. Miller has gone for a career-high 17 tackles in 2022, with
1.5 tackles for a loss, one sack and two pass break-ups. Miller has played in 19 games over two seasons, with 24 career tackles and 2.5 stops for a loss.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">A fifth-year senior punter out of Castle Rock, Colo., Power owns a 3.77 GPA while working on his master’s of sports management. Power had charted a 43.0 per punt average as a senior, with 12 downed inside
the 20-yard line and five going for 50+ yards. Power owns a 41.8 career average over 49 games and averaged a career-best 44.7 as a junior while helping lead BU to the Big 12 Conference Championship. Power was preseason all-conference in 2022 by two outlets
and was a member of the Ray Guy Award Watch List, given annually to the nation’s best punter.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">A native of Huntington Beach, Calif., Utley is a fifth-year senior who owns a 3.52 GPA while efforting his master’s in sports management. Utley has played in all 11 games with eight tackles, 1.5 tackles
for a loss and 0.5 sacks, adding two QB hurries. Utley has played in 45 career games with 54 tackles, eight tackles for a loss and three sacks.

<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Baylor (6-5, 4-4 Big 12 Conference) wraps up its regular-season schedule with an 11 a.m. kickoff on Friday at Texas (7-4, 5-3 Big 12). The game will be televised live on ESPN and broadcast live on the Baylor
