including four All-Americans in Shelby Clausen (Reining), Marley Mainwaring (Horsemanship), Jenna Meimerstorf (Reining) and NCEA Co-Rider of the Year Andie Pratt (Reining). Additionally, sixth-year head coach Casie Maxwell welcomes 20 freshmen into the fold
for the 2022-23 campaign.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Bears for her first season leading the Horsemanship squad. Maxwell continues to oversee the Reining team and has guided BU to the postseason in all four of her eligible postseasons, after the 2019-20 postseason was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<br>

Baylor officially opens the regular season on Thursday, Sept. 29, at No. 10 South Carolina before traveling to face No. 5 Georgia the following day. BU will compete against seven of the other preseason top-10 teams, with 11 of its 13 regular-season meets coming
against ranked opponents. The Bears open their home slate on Friday, Oct. 21, against No. 3 TCU, and fans are encouraged to wear gold as part of Baylor’s “Go Gold” campaign.
