CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – </span></b><span style="background:white">Baylor men’s tennis’ Adrian Boitan, Tadeas Paroulek and Matias Soto competed in the NCAA Individuals singles competition on Monday at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex, with Paroulek moving on into the
round of 32.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black;background:white">THE RUNDOWN<o:p></o:p></span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black;background:white">Senior Soto and sophomore Paroulek were the first Bears to hit the courts. Soto finished first, being bested by LSU’s Ronnie Hohmann, 6-2, 6-4. He
didn’t go down without a fight, as he pushed for a comeback late in the second set. Soto completes his singles career at Baylor with a 16-12 record for the 2022 season and a career record of 87-44.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black;background:white">Paroulek looked as if he’d win it handily in his second set with Ohio State’s James Trotter started to claw back his way. Paroulek fought him off
and won, 6-4, 6-4 over the Buckeye.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black;background:white">Boitan and Diallo kept step for step with each other throughout each game in the first set, but Diallo kept the points. The same was true for the
second set. Boitan battled with the Wildcat, but just didn’t capture the point. The junior fell, 6-3, 6-2, to Diallo. Boitan finishes the season with a 21-4 record for the season overall and a career record of 67-19.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
