The Bears’ compulsory tumbling heat was the highest of any team’s quarterfinal score.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

of 29.60 for the event. Converse had a total of 28.675 in the event.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

pyramid, followed by a 9.775 in the synchronized heat and a 9.95 in the open heat. The Valkyries scored a 28.85 in the event, with Baylor leading 97.875 to 92.375 at the half.

In tumbling, the Bears had four heats scoring above a 9.3. Emily Tobin had a 9.75 in the six-element pass, and Briana Harris continued to shine in the open heat with a score of 9.925. BU finished with a score of 53.875 while Converse had a 51.225. Going into
the final event of the meet, Baylor was leading by nine points, 180.075 – 171.075.
