came roaring back to make it 9-6 thanks to Pressley, as well as Kara and Elise McGhee. An ace for West Virginia tied it up at 12-12, but Pressley had a kill to sway it back to the Bears. The teams traded one more point to each other and then the Bears went
on a spree of 7-3. The Mountaineers challenged a Pressley kill but it was unsuccessful, confirming the score to be 24-18. Pressley finished off the set at 25-19.

had another kill and made it 8-5. Baylor then went up by as much as four and then WVU crept back up. The Bears tried to pull away once again and made it up to 15-11 with kills from Sedwick and Kara McGhee. Out of the media timeout, BU and WVU traded a few
points, with the Bears still leading. Shanel Bramschreiber served up an ace at 23-17 but it was followed by two West Virginia kills. At 23-20, Baylor called for a timeout, WVU being on a five-point run. The Mountaineers stretched it out to a 10-point scoring

had a kill to make it 9-5, but the Mountaineers held strong. Down by six at 12-6, BU called for a pause. Elise McGhee and Pressley scored back-to-back kills to lessen the lead to 15-11. Then two more emphatic kills from Pressley, three in a row, made it 15-13
and WVU called for a timeout of their own. A service error on both sides of the set made it 20-18 Baylor. The teams tied it up at 21-all and West Virginia called for another pause. From that point on, the Bears and Mountaineers were trading points. They climbed
to 26-26 with a Pressley kill tying it up. A Preslie Anderson kill tied it at 27-all, then two attack errors from WVU, the last being blocked by Anderson, ended the set at 29-27 to give the match win to Baylor.
