regular-season Big 12 title and first since 2015, No. 2 Baylor men’s tennis was awarded the No. 2 seed for the upcoming Big 12 Championship.<br>
<br>
Due to the three-way tie with No. 6 TCU and No. 7 Texas, the Big 12 implemented its tiebreaker procedure and declared a draw for both sets of ties. Per conference policy, ITA rankings were then used to assign seeds. After applying ITA rankings through matches
of April 18, Texas earned the No. 1 seed, while Baylor grabbed the No. 2 spot and TCU placed at No. 3.<br>
<br>
No. 4 Oklahoma State, No. 5 Texas Tech and No. 6 Oklahoma rounded out the seed order for the upcoming Championship, which will be held at the Hurd Tennis Center in Waco. Men’s action begins on Saturday, April 24, and concludes on Monday, April 26.<br>
<br>
With a first-round bye, Baylor will face the winner of No. 3 TCU and No. 6 Oklahoma on Sunday at 4 p.m. CT. If the Bears win, they’ll advance to Monday’s final set to begin at 2 p.m. CT.<br>
<br>
The Horned Frogs and Sooners will kick off the action at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday, while the Cowboys and Red Raiders will square off simultaneously. Texas awaits the winner of the OSU/TTU matchup for a 4 p.m. tilt on Sunday.<br>

BU finished the regular season at 27-4 and 4-1 in Big 12 play under interim head coach Michael Woodson. The Bears boast a 12-4 record against ranked opponents, including an 11-4 mark against the top-25.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
