addition of Jill Van Zee as Senior Associate Athletics Director and Athletics Chief of Staff. Van Zee will join the Baylor Athletics department on April 19 after nearly six years on campus in Human Resources.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">“We are thrilled to formally welcome Jill, her husband Brian, and daughters Breeley and Raelynn to the Baylor Athletics family,” Rhoades said. “She has brought tremendous value
to our department in her previous role, and we are eager to work with her in this new capacity. Jill is incredibly talented and adds a unique perspective and skillset to our team, which will help us achieve our departmental mission of <i>Preparing Champions
for Life</i>.”<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Van Zee previously worked directly with Baylor Athletics as HR Consultant and was promoted to Director of HR Consulting in October 2019, where she continued to work with the athletics department while
also leading a team of HR Consultants serving the entire Baylor campus. In April 2020, Van Zee took leadership of the Talent Management and Recruiting teams. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">“I’m extremely excited to become a more integral part of the Baylor Athletics family, serving directly alongside Mack and this team of professionals in the role of Athletics
Chief of Staff,” Van Zee said. “The past five years serving in the human resource capacity for the athletic department has given me an abundance of industry knowledge and sense of pride and appreciation for the work and talent of our coaches and amazing staff
that lead our student-athletes to great success in competition, academics, and preparation for life beyond Baylor. I look forward to continued learning and growth working alongside this team, Baylor leadership, and our student-athletes.” <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Van Zee will join the senior administration team, serving as project director for select, executive-level initiatives, projects and presentations. As Athletics Chief of Staff,
she will be the executive liaison for department staff, campus groups, Board of Regents, athletics donors and other constituents, while providing administrative support for the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. Among other responsibilities, Van Zee will
also assist in strategic decision making for the department and guide the development of agendas and action plans for recurring Executive, Leadership Team, and all-staff meetings. <br>

Van Zee received a Master’s in Industrial Management from South Dakota State University and currently serves on Board of Directors for The COVE in Waco.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Van Zee has been married to Brian Van Zee, Regional Director for Texas Parks and Wildlife Inland Fisheries, for 26 years. They have two daughters – Breeley is a freshman at Baylor
studying nutrition science and Raelynn is a seventh grader playing select fastpitch softball as well as junior high volleyball and basketball.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
