league-leading 30 Academic All-Big 12 selections, as announced by the conference office on Friday.<br>
<br>
Twenty-eight Bears were named to the first team, while an additional two received second-team praise. Senior Katie Davis was also nominated with a 4.00 grade point average.<br>
<br>
First-team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA while the second-team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA.
<br>
<br>
To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher either cumulative or the two previous semesters and must have participated in 20 percent of their team’s scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic
residence.<br>
<br>
Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum or two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black;letter-spacing:.25pt">Baylor finished the 2021 regular season at 2-7 with a third-place finish in the Big 12 Championship and earned the No. 8 seed for the NCEA National
Championship. The Bears will take on No. 1 Auburn when nationals kicks off on Thursday, April 15, at the Extraco Events Center in Waco.<br>
