</span></b><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">Baylor swept this week’s National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) awards as Kam Kitchens earned Athlete of the Week, Emily Tobin was Specialist of the Week and Riley Chimwala
was voted the Freshman of the Week for the second-straight week.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">Kitchens, a sophomore top and tumbler from Kennesaw, Ga., competed in 11 heats and team event against East Texas Baptist as she helped BU record eight scores of 9.50 or higher, including
a perfect 10.0 in the compulsory toss. She also helped the team to a 9.95 in open pyramid and recorded a score of 9.75 in the open tumbling pass. She was also vital to the team event that scored a 93.65.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">Tobin, a sophomore from Templeton, Calif., was a standout in the acro event last weekend as a top in two of the three heats during the event. Both of Tobin’s heats scored a perfect
10.0 as she performs release skills and hand balance skills during the five- and seven-element acro heats.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">Chimwala, a base from Plano, Texas, repeats as NCATA Freshman of the Week this week after competing in 10 heats and team event. Her performance was highlighted by a trio of perfect
scores during the win over East Texas Baptist as the team recorded a perfect 10.0 in compulsory toss, five-element acro and seven-element acro. She also helped BU record a 9.95 in inversion pyramid and a 9.65 in the 450 salto toss. In all, she helped the team
to nine scores of 9.50 or higher.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
