12 conference play begins, No. 4 Baylor men’s tennis heads to No. 48 SMU for a 1 p.m. match in Dallas on Sunday.<br>

BU (20-3) is riding a four-match win streak and has won nine of its last 10 outings. The Bears have accumulated at least 20 wins in seven of the last nine seasons, and will look to add to that total against the Mustangs (13-9).<br>
<br>
Earlier this season, Baylor swept its doubleheader against SMU on January 18 in Waco, taking both ends 7-0.<br>
<br>
In the latest ITA/Oracle rankings, the Bears boast three ranked singles players and two ranked doubles pairings in No. 9 Matias Soto, No. 90 Adrian Boitan, No. 114 Spencer Furman, No. 22 Constantin Frantzen/Sven Lah and No. 51 Matias Soto/Nick Stachowiak.<br>
<br>
Stachowiak, a graduate transfer from Duke, has a chance to eclipse the 200-career win plateau if he can collect both a singles and doubles victory on Sunday. He enters this weekend with 102 career singles wins and 96 career doubles victories.<br>
<br>
BU currently holds a combined 99-17 record in singles play this spring and a 46-17 mark in doubles. The Bears are 18-5 in the doubles point this season and have gone 17-1 in matches when doing so.<br>
<br>
After January’s doubleheader, Baylor is now 24-28 all-time against SMU, but has won each of the last 21 contests dating back to 2002.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
