Jalen Pitre (safety) were named First Team All-Big 12 by the Associated Press on Thursday, while junior Terrel Bernard (linebacker) was tabbed to the second team.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black;background:white">Ebner finished the season second in the Big 12 in kick return average (32.2) and first kick return touchdowns with his two in the season opener against
Kansas. The Tyler, Texas native was fourth in the Big 12 in all-purpose yards with 116.3 per game, a majority of those coming in the return game. Earlier, Ebner was named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year and Second Team All-Texas after his performance
in the 2020 season. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

with 13. He was also third in the Big 12 and 28th nationally in tackles-for-loss per game (1.44). In addition, Pitre was third on the team in sacks with 2.5 and the first Baylor player to have two interception returns for TD in same season. Last week he earned
First Team All-Big 12 honors, while additionally being named First Team All-Texas earlier this week.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

(1.30), before his season-ending shoulder injury suffered at Iowa State (Nov. 7). Bernard finished the season with 55 total tackles, including 6.5 TFLs and 3.5 sacks. A week ago, he was named Second Team All-Big 12 for his efforts.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
