men’s tennis will host the ITA Texas Regionals from Oct. 23-25 at the Waco Regional Tennis Center.<br>

Due to COVID-19 modifications, the event will be closed to the public.<br>
<br>
Doubles action will kick off the weekend Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. CT with the top-seeded Charlie Broom/Sven Lah taking on UTA’s Alejandro Hayen/Alan Sau Franco. The Bears also boast the No. 2-seed duo of Matias Soto/Nick Stachowiak who will face off against
BYU’s Jack Barnett/Sean Hill. <br>
<br>
Finn Bass/Spencer Furman will square off with Lamar’s Bo Cautaerts/Joshua Sundaram in the second-tier doubles bracket. Both doubles brackets consist of eight pairings in single-elimination format.<br>
<br>
Rahul Dhokia/Sebastian Nothhaft will also team up in round-robin doubles play, starting their weekend with a match against UTA’s Daichi Akiyoshi/Ricardo Alban.<br>
<br>
Singles will follow each day’s doubles action, with BU’s Lah entering the weekend as the No. 1 seed in the top flight. He’ll face Texas’ Chih Chi Huang in the round of 32. No. 2-seeded Soto draws TCU’s Juan Martin, while No. 4 Broom takes the court against
Lamar’s Alejandro Sanchez Gonzalez. Additionally, Bass, Stachowiak, Furman and Nothhaft will each take part in top flight action.<br>

Dhokia will round out the Bears’ singles competitors, as he’ll match up with UTA’s Alban in the second flight bracket.<br>
<br>
This weekend’s ITA Texas Regionals features some of the top men’s tennis players from around the state, as eight Texas universities will be represented. BYU and Louisiana will also send players to compete.<br>
