Woodson announced the addition of graduate transfer Nick Stachowiak on Thursday.<br>

Stachowiak comes to Baylor after spending parts of four seasons at Duke University. He compiled an 85-39 singles record and went 79-41 in doubles during his time with the Blue Devils. Due to the shortened 2020 season, Stachowiak retains one year of eligibility
and will join the Bears this fall.<br>
<br>
“We are excited to add Nick Stachowiak to our team for the upcoming year,” Woodson said. “The success he had at Duke throughout his career speaks for itself. He brings a passion and competitiveness that will fit in perfectly with the culture we are cultivating
here at Baylor.”<br>

Originally from Cary, N.C., Stachowiak heads to Waco after a strong start to his senior campaign, going 8-2 in singles and 7-1 in doubles in the spring before the season was interrupted. He was ranked as high as No. 5 in the ITA’s doubles rankings, finishing
at No. 8. He is a two-time All-ACC performer, three-time ITA All-Academic Scholar-Athlete honoree and four-time ACC Academic Honor Roll member.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Stachowiak will join a BU program that has won 13 Big 12 Conference regular season titles and nine tournament crowns over the 24-year history of the league. The Bears will return all 12 players from the 2020 roster that went 13-3 in the shortened season.<br>
