99th Women’s Texas Amateur golf tournament to earn Medalist honors and the No. 1 seed in the Championship Match Play Bracket.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">“Gurleen has never stopped working hard on her game, and it does not surprise me at all that she had a great first day at the Texas Women's Am,” Baylor head coach Jay Goble said.
“She has made some great adjustments with her swing coach, and has also done really well with a different outlook in regards to her putting. Gurleen is playing a lot of competitive golf the next few weeks, and I see this as a start to a fantastic month for
her.”<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Kaur recorded six birdies on the day at the University of Texas Golf Club, shooting a 2-under 33 on the front nine and a 2-under 34 on the back. The Houston, Texas, native finished
four shots clear of the four players who tied for second place at even par.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
