for Baylor track & field Saturday at both the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., and the Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">“Overall, it was a mixed day,” head coach Todd Harbour said. “We had some good things happen. We just have to get everybody well, reload and get ready for the Big 12 meet in
two weeks.”<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Day won in impressive fashion in the men’s 3,000 meters at the Tyson Invitational, kicking it into high gear and finishing a full two seconds ahead of second place. The sophomore
from Waco recorded a personal-best time of 8:21.65, which falls just outside the top-10 on Baylor’s all-time indoor performers list.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Tuesdi Tidwell took home the victory in the women’s pole vault at the Iowa State Classic, winning a tie-breaking jump-off with a mark of 14-0 ½ (4.28m). The junior from Early,
Texas, was tied at 13-8 ½ (4.18m) before ultimately coming away with the win.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
