the school high jump record to highlight the final day for Baylor track & field at the Texas Tech Invitational & Multis Saturday at the Sports Performance Center in Lubbock.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">“It was another great day, continuing to build on successes,” head coach Todd Harbour said. “We’re excited to come out of this one healthy again. There’s never a perfect track
meet, but we had a lot of good things today. We still have some areas we can improve upon. We had more people step up into the national level today, and I thought that was a big deal.”<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Miller cleared 5-10.25 (1.79m) to tie Kirsten Stepcick’s Baylor indoor high jump record of 5-10.25 (1.79m) set at the 1993 Southwest Conference Championship. The sophomore from
McKinney, Texas, is now tied for 11th nationally.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">“Alyssa’s school record was huge,” Harbour said. “That’s an old school record. Any time a school record has been around that long, it’s pretty solid. She did a great job. She
just missed 6 feet. She had some good jumps at it, so she’s on her way. That was a big deal for her.”<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Lightfoot, the two-time reigning Big 12 Athlete of the Week, equaled his school record and national-best pole vault of 19-00.25 (5.80m) to take home the victory. Tuesdi Tidwell
made it another sweep for the Bears as she took home the women’s pole vault title with a jump of 14-1.25 (4.30m).<o:p></o:p></span></p>
