Illini Invitational team championship on Sunday afternoon at Olympia Fields Country Club. BU was four shots back late in the final round, but the Bears came back to tie Georgia Tech and claim back-to-back tournament titles to open a season for the second time
in program history and first time since 2008.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>

field, defeating Pepperdine (+9), North Carolina (+16), Illinois (+19), Texas A&M (+19), Florida (+20), Florida State (+21), Texas (+23), Alabama (+32), Northwestern (+33), California (+37), Oklahoma State (+37), UNLV (+44) and Indiana (+64).<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>

move into first place. He made bogey on No. 10 to fall back into a tie for first, but quickly answered with a birdie on the next hole to regain sole possession of the lead at 4-under. Dossey then went on a tear, making birdies on Nos. 13, 15 and 16 to extend
his lead to four shots with two holes to play. He finished at 4-under 206, one shot ahead of Florida’s John Axelsen, claiming his third career medalist honor and first since the 2017 Royal Oaks Intercollegiate.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
