at Blessings Golf Club. The Bears improved by 19 strokes from their first round, which tied the second-largest improvement in the 30-team field.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-bookmark:_Hlk495348662"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Baylor (+33) needs to make up eight strokes and pass 10 teams in Sunday’s third round to advance to Monday’s fourth and final round of stroke play. The Bears’ 7-over
on Saturday tied for the 13<sup>th</sup>-best score in the field and allowed them the move ahead of LSU (+34), Illinois (+36), Louisville (+39), Duke (+42) and BYU (+53). There are 12 teams leading BU by nine or fewer strokes entering the third round.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>

(+17), Clemson (+18), Vanderbilt (+19), Arizona State (+22), Georgia Tech (+24), Georgia (+24), SMU (+25) forming the current top-15 teams. Teams outside the current projected cut to Monday’s fourth round include UNLV (+26), Pepperdine (+27), North Carolina
(+28), South Carolina (+28), North Florida (+30), TCU (+30), Georgia Southern (+31), Liberty (+32), USC (+32), Baylor (+33), and five teams behind the Bears.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>

150. Dossey’s 63-spot jump was second-best in the 156-player field. He started the round with consecutive birdies and remained at par or better the entire round. After falling back top even-par through eight holes, Dossey birdied Nos. 8 and 11 to get back
to 2-under. He punctuated his round with a chip-in birdie on No. 18.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>

1, but he immediately got back to even-par with a birdie on No. 2 and he would not go above par the rest of the round. He made seven consecutive pars before ending the string with an eagle on the par-5 15<sup>th</sup> hole.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
