<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">In what has become commonplace, KC Lightfoot won the pole vault competition to become the first-ever Baylor athlete to win the event at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships. The
freshman from Lee’s Summit, Mo., cleared 18-04.50 (5.60m) to make it two-for-two as he added the outdoor title to his indoor title from earlier this year.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Three of Baylor’s relay teams achieved All-Big 12 status, with the women’s 4x4 placing third, the men’s 4x1 finishing fourth, and the women’s 4x1 taking sixth.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Sarah Yocum and Moorea Long had memorable days as both took home their first-ever All-Big 12 awards. Yocum placed fifth in the 400-meter hurdles after running 59.83, while Long
posted a mark of 5-5.75 (1.67m) to finish seventh in the high jump.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Sydney Washington ran 11.60 to place fifth and achieve All-Big 12 in the 100 meters, Kennedy Bailey earned All-Big 12 on her birthday in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of
13.59, and Maxwell Willis clocked a time of 21.06 to take sixth and earn All-Big 12 in the 200 meters.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">“We had a lot of solid, all-conference performances,” Harbour said. “There were some people who stepped up who maybe weren’t ranked coming in. As a team, we’re disappointed with
how we finished. We just didn’t have a good day across the board in a lot of areas. It’s disappointing. We know that we have to do better than that. I’m happy for the Big 12 winners. Now we have to regroup and get ready for the NCAA first round.”<o:p></o:p></span></p>
