• Carr’s 556 points are the most by a Baylor player in their first year since Vinnie Johnson (1977-78) with 575.
• Yessoufou continues to rewrite the freshman program record book, breaking the freshman record of made field goals with 187, passing the record held since 1975-76 by Larry Spicer.
• At UCF, Yessoufou broke the freshman program record with 511 points, passing Aaron Bruce (2004-05).
• Yessoufou extends Baylor’s success streak of standout freshman in the record books, with VJ Edgecombe (2024-25), Ja’Kobe Walter (2023-24), and Keyonte George (2022-23) all making their marks in the last four years.
