WACO, Texas – Baylor men’s basketball picked up another big addition to its upcoming roster with the signing of forward Isaac Celiscar, who transfers to BU after two seasons at Yale, the program announced Wednesday.
Celiscar, a 6-foot-6 forward from Winter Haven, Fla., arrives in Waco after a standout season for Yale, guiding the Bulldogs to a first-place finish in the Ivy League in 2025-26. Celiscar earned a Second Team All-Ivy selection after becoming the conference's most efficient scorer from the field, leading the Ivy League with a 57.3-field goal percentage. Celiscar is listed as the No. 102 overall transfer, No. 14 small forward and a four-star transfer recruit by 247 Sports.
The incoming junior averaged 13.2 points and 6.3 rebounds per game while starting all 31 games for the past season. Celiscar ranked 13th in the Ivy League in scoring average and ninth in total points with 409. Additionally, KenPom ranked Celiscar at No. 27 nationally in offensive rating among all collegiate basketball players.
During the 2025-26 season, Celiscar posted 24 games with double-digit scoring and recorded six double-doubles on the year. He saved his best performance for the Ivy Madness semifinal against Cornell, putting up a career-high 27 points on 12-of-16 shooting. He followed that with 17 points and 11 rebounds in the conference championship game against Penn. Following into the postseason, Celiscar scored 23 points on 8-of-13 shooting, including 4-of-5 from 3-point range, with 12 rebounds and five assists in an NIT first-round win over UNCW.
In his freshman year with the Bulldogs, Celiscar played in all 30 games and averaged 7.1 points and 5.0 rebounds. He earned the John C. Cobb Team Award and was tabbed Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors once. Celiscar tallied double-figures in seven games, including a strong showing in the NCAA First Round game against Texas A&M with 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting.
At Winter Haven High School, Celiscar scored 1,927 points, the second most in school history, and grabbed a school-record 1,060 rebounds in his high school career. He was a two-time All-State selection and two-time Polk County Player of the Year.
Celiscar will join the Bears with two years of eligibility left as an incoming junior.
