WACO, Texas -- Jonas Appel, Davis Ovard and Vincent Sternfeldt each collected top-40 finishes to highlight Baylor men’s golf at The Clerico in Tulsa, Okla., hosted by Oral Roberts on Monday-Tuesday at Southern Hills Country Club.



Baylor shot a 57-over (295-290-308) to finish in 11th place.



Stjernfeldt led the Bears with a 23rd place finish that featured a 75-71-74 showing. His 71 in round two featured four birdies.



Appel shot a 12-over to finish 29th that included a 74-70-78 showing, with the 70 in the second round featuring a trio of birdies.



Ovard, a native of Frisco, Texas, shot a 17-over for the event including a 71-75-81. He placed 40th overall.



Martin Kemp finished 28-over-par with a 75-80-83 over the three rounds with a 61st place finish.



Alex Heard finished with a 77-74-79 total score to place 50th at 20-over to finish in 48th.



Baylor returns to action at the Kapolei Invitational in Hawaii on Nov. 5-6.
