TYLER, Texas – Baylor football redshirt senior wide receiver Josh Cameron has been named to the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Honorable Mention for Week 12, as announced Tuesday by the organization.

Cameron had a career-high 13 catches for 165 yards and scored two touchdowns in BU’s contest against No. 13 Utah on Saturday. He extended his streak to three-straight games with a TD catch and recorded his fourth-career multi-TD outing. Cameron also eclipsed 2,000 receiving yards for his career, becoming the 12th player in program history to surpass that mark.

The Cedar Park, Texas, native moved into eighth place on Baylor’s all-time leaderboard with 19 career touchdown receptions and now ranks 11th in BU history with 161 career catches. Cameron now leads the 2025 squad with 60 receptions, 746 yards and seven touchdowns this season. He ranks inside the top-10 in the Big 12 in all three categories, including leading the league in receptions and placing second in yards.

This is the second time this season that Cameron has been recognized by the ECTR award, previously being named to the honorable mention in Week 2 for his performance against SMU. Other Bears to receive the recognition this season include three-time winner Sawyer Robertson (Week 2, Week 5, Week 10), Bryson Washington (Week 3) and Michael Trigg (Week 6).

The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award recognizes the top offensive player in Division I football who also exhibits the enduring characteristics that define Earl Campbell: integrity, performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, drive, community and tenacity to persist as well as determination to overcome adversity and injury in pursuit of reaching goals. Additionally, the recipient must either have played football at and graduated from a Texas high school and/or be currently playing at a Texas-based Division I four-year university.
