Reminder about Baylor’s spring football practice opener on Saturday, featuring post-practice interview with Coach Dave Aranda.

Approximate 10:45 a.m. start and a 12:20 p.m. ending time at the Allison Indoor.

For those covering NCAA women’s basketball press conferences, those start at Foster Pavilion, beginning with Baylor, at 1:25 p.m.

We’re looking forward to working with you throughout the Baylor spring football practice schedule. Please find below a tentative spring football media availability schedule, with all times subject to change.

The post-practice interview times can be fluid, depending on how long practices run. Please feel free to check in win us each day. All media open periods and media availabilities will be held at either the Simpson Center or the Allison Indoor.

When you arrive at the Allison Indoor Center lobby, check in with Brent Ingram and the Communications Staff to review the plan for each day’s media session.

Additionally, at the Simpson Center and Fudge Football Development Center is limited. Please plan accordingly and if all parking is full, the closest open lot is at the Mayborn Museum (off parking enforcement patrol at 4 pm) or the Ferrell Center.

Each interview session will feature either Coach Dave Aranda or a position coach, and a selection of student-athletes from each position group. Those available to interviews will be announced in advance of each session. A tentative plan for each position group is listed below but is subject to change. We will alert via a media advisory before each week as to the available student-athletes and coaches.

Media will be permitted to observe and shoot the first two periods of practice on each of the days listed below, with an estimated ending time detailed at this stage.

Our goal is to provide multiple opportunities with Aranda, a visit with each position coach and interview opportunities with approximately 30 Baylor student-athletes.

We will send out this schedule each week, with an effort made to give you a heads-up as to which position group and coaching staff member will be available for interviews.
