WACO, Texas – Baylor softball head coach Glenn Moore has added Cambree Creager, Sa’Mya Jones and Peyton Tanner to the 2026 roster, as announced Saturday.
Creager transfers from Arizona State to join the Bears with three years of eligibility. The sophomore pitcher spent her first season with the Sun Devils.

During her freshman campaign, she pitched one complete-game and had 21 strikeouts in 39 innings pitched. In the first game of her career, she held Maryland to just one run to become the first ASU freshman to start and earn the win in a series opener since 2015.
A graduate of Georgetown High School in 2024, Creager had a 36-6 record with a 1.35 ERA and 412 strikeouts over three varsity seasons. She was named one of the Top 40 Right-Handed Pitchers by SB Live in Texas during her high school career. She closed out her high school career with back-to-back Pitcher of the Year honors in 2023 and 2024, including a district 5A MVP in 2023.
Jones transfers from LSU to join the Bears with three years of eligibility. The sophomore infielder spent her first season with the Tigers.
Originally from Pearland, Texas, Jones played in 27 games as a freshman.
During her freshman campaign, she primarily pinch ran for the Tigers, scoring 13 runs over her 27 appearances and going a perfect 5-for-5 in stolen bases.
A graduate of Glenda Dawson High School in 2024, Jones was ranked No. 2 by MaxPreps and was the offensive MVP during her sophomore and junior seasons. As a junior Jones also won First Team All-District honors. During her career in club ball, Jones played for the Hotshots organization and was named a PGF All-American.
Jones will be pursuing a degree in kinesiology at Baylor.
Tanner transfers from Tennessee to join the Bears with three years of eligibility. The sophomore pitcher spent her first season with the Lady Vols.
Originally from Lake Jackson, Texas, Tanner appeared in nine games, making two starts in the circle for the Lady Vols. She helped the 2025 squad make it back to the Women’s College World Series after defeating Nebraska in Super Regionals.
During her freshman campaign, she picked up three wins with 25 innings pitched and 16 strikeouts. Tanner tossed a perfect game against Delaware State with a career-high six strikeouts in five innings pitched.
