* Nearly mounting a comeback off a 22-point deficit halfway through the third quarter, Baylor dropped its first road conference test at No. 9 TCU, 80-75, on Sunday afternoon in Fort Worth.
* The loss is the second straight for the Bears in their second consecutive game against a top 10 opponent.
* BU’s 37-game winning streak over the Horned Frogs that dated back to 2/28/1990 was snapped in TCU’s sixth win over the Bears in the 53rd contest between the two squads.
* Collen is 90-33 in her fourth season leading the Bears, 43-19 in Big 12 play.
* Collen is 18-11 in the month of January.
* Sarah Andrews scored the 12th 20-plus point game of her career with 21, tying a season-high five triples. The Sunday afternoon contest was the fourth time this season that Andrews led the scoring efforts for BU.
* Darianna Littlepage-Buggs’ 14 rebounds marked her second-straight game in double figures on the boards, adding seven points to the total with five free throws on six attempts.
* Littlepage-Buggs’ four assists led Baylor for the first time this season, in the team’s 15-total.
* Jada Walker put together an 11-point effort with a trio of steals.
* Aaronette Vonleh and Yaya Felder each scored nine, with Vonleh finding a season-high three assists and Felder mounting four steals, her most since the Nov. 29, 2024, contest against New Orleans.
* Aliyah Matharu had big minutes, posting a positive 19-point differential in her 21 minutes on the court. The Bear, in her eighth game, had 14 points with an assist and a block.
* Bella Fontleroy added just four points, but contributed five rebounds for BU.
* Kyla Abraham was held scoreless, but gave BU their lone block of the game, tied for the season low.
* Baylor used the familiar lineup of Darianna Littlepage-Buggs, Jada Walker, Sarah Andrews, Aaronette Vonleh and Bella Fontleroy as its first five for the 20th time this season.
* Littlepage-Buggs is 53-15, Walker is 42-13, Andrews is 87-34, Fontleroy is 37-15 and Vonleh is 16-5 as starters at Baylor.
* Baylor stays on the road with another trip east to face UCF on Wednesday at Addition Financial Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
