  *   Baylor defeated Arizona State, 78-59, at Desert Financial Arena on Saturday night in a dominant performance that the Bears led 39 minutes.
  *   In the win, Nicki Collen collected her best start to the Big 12 slate with a 4-1 record.
  *   BU had its best night this season from the free throw line, shooting 90% (9-10).
  *   The Bears shot 44.9% from the floor with 31 makes, seven coming from the arc behind a strong performance from Sarah Andrews. The fifth-year guard was 3-for-4 from three.
  *   BU’s 49 rebounds were the most in conference play this season and the most since the 61-rebound performance against Texas Southern.
  *   BU improves to 3-1 on the road this season, all three wins coming in the Big 12 gauntlet.
  *   Collen is 88-31 in her fourth season leading the Bears, 41-18 in Big 12 play.

  *   Collen is 16-9 in the month of January.
  *   Andrews led BU in scoring, putting up 16 points with three rebounds and a pair of assists.
  *   Aliyah Matharu had her best game as a Bear so far, scoring 14 points with a pair of 3-pointers. The fourth-game Bear had four rebounds and played 20 minutes.
  *   Yaya Felder was held without a 3-pointer but had 13 points with seven rebounds.
  *   Aaronette Vonleh had a strong night in the paint, getting 12 points with five rebounds.
  *   In just 13 minutes of play, Darianna Littlepage-Buggs was 5-of-6 with two from the free throw line, five rebounds and three assists.
  *   Jada Walker had a season-best seven rebounds and dished out six assists against the Sun Devils, playing 27 minutes.
  *   Kyla Abraham had a big defensive night and tallied her first points of conference play this year, getting a layup under the basket.
  *   Madison Bartley and Bella Fontleroy also compiled a pair of points. Fontleroy had a block and two steals with three rebounds and Bartley nabbed four rebounds.
  *   Freshman Kayla Nelms got action in the very last minute and got her first conference steal in the final seconds of the game.
  *   Baylor started Jada Walker, Sarah Andrews, Darianna Littlepage-Buggs, Aaronette Vonleh and Bella Fontleroy for the 17th time this season in as many games.

     *   Walker is 40-11, Andrews is 85-32, Littlepage-Buggs is 52-18, Fontleroy is 35-13 and Vonleh is 14-3 as starters at Baylor.

  *   Baylor returns home for a pair of key Big 12 matchups, hosting the Utah Utes on Tuesday evening before a Friday-night bout against Houston at Foster Pavilion.
