  *   Baylor suffered its worst home conference loss since the 1996-97 season on New Year’s Day 2025, dropping a 23-point contest to Oklahoma State, 84-61, at Foster Pavilion.
  *   The Bears shot 32.4% from the floor, their worse of the season, with a season-low 61 points.
  *   BU connected on five from beyond the arc in 21 ties and were 8-of-15 (53.3%) from the charity stripe.
  *   Oklahoma State’s 55.2% from the floor was the best of a Baylor opponent this season, the best since Kansas State’s 60.4% performance in Manhattan on Feb. 15, 2023.
  *   The Cowgirls captured their second win in Waco in 15 previous attempts.
  *   BU had a season-low assists total, only dishing 10.
  *   Baylor lost just its third game at Foster Pavilion in 18 tries.

  *   Nicki Collen is 85-31 in her fourth season leading the Bears, 38-18 in Big 12 play.
  *   Collen is 13-9 in the month of January.
  *   Yaya Felder was the leading scorer for Baylor, getting 16 with three from 3-point range. It’s the senior’s fourth time leading the Bears in points this season.
  *   Jada Walker had 12 points in her 10th double-figure scoring effort of the season.
  *   Darianna Littlepage-Buggs was a point away from a double-double, with nine points and 11 rebounds. Buggs also tallied a block, steal and two assists.
  *   Sarah Andrews was also just shy of a double-double, getting nine points and eight rebounds.
  *   Aaronette Vonleh and Madison Bartley each had five points on the afternoon, with Bartley connecting on her first 3-pointer of the season, 50th of her career.
  *   Bella Fontleroy was kept blockless for the fourth time this season and ended the afternoon with four rebounds and points.
  *   Aliyah Matharu made her Baylor debut on Wednesday, but didn’t connect on five shots, only sinking a free throw. The Florida transfer had one rebound and a steal in her first game at Foster Pavilion.
  *   Baylor started Jada Walker, Sarah Andrews, Darianna Littlepage-Buggs, Aaronette Vonleh and Bella Fontleroy for the 14th time this season in as many games.

     *   Walker is 37-11, Andrews is 82-32, Littlepage-Buggs is 49-18, Fontleroy is 32-13 and Vonleh is 11-3 as starters at Baylor.

  *   Baylor continues conference play at home, facing Colorado on Saturday at 2 p.m.
