* The Bears tied the program record for 3-pointers made in a game with 17. The record of 17 was originally set by a Nicki Collen squad on November 24, 2023, against McNeese. 17 also bests the former record of 3-pointers in a Big 12 game of 14 that was set at Allen Fieldhouse on Jan. 16, 2022.

* Florida transfer Aliyah Matharu was also dominant from three, going 5-of-6 for 17 points, her highest-scoring effort as a Bear. Five 3-pointers matches her career best that has been equaled now seven times, the last coming in her final game as a Florida Gator against St. Johns in the first round of the WBIT.
* Yaya Felder matched her best mark for 3-pointers in Big 12 play this season with three, ending the afternoon with 13 points and five assists.
* BU shot 56.9% from the floor, its third-best make percentage of the season behind a pair of games at the Battle 4 Atlantis where Baylor went for 58.7% against Villanova in the third-place game and 57.4% against Southern Miss in the first round.
* 56.9% is the best over a Big 12 opponent since last season’s game against Houston at Foster Pavilion where the Bears shot 57% at 32-of-56.
* Besting 50% from the floor in each quarter (66.7% in 1Q, 57.1% in 2Q, 53.3% in 3Q and 56.9% in 4Q), Wednesday afternoon’s game marked the second time this season, first coming against Villanova in The Bahamas, that Baylor shot over 50% in all four quarters.

* Sarah Andrews had a season-high 12 assists in Baylor’s highest assist output of the season of 31, the second-most of the Collen era and just the third with 30 or more in Collen’s tenure.
* Also contributing to Baylor’s success at the arc, Andrews sunk a three and ended with six points and a pair of steals.
* Aaronette Vonleh had another big night in the paint, scoring 16 points with a team-leading two blocks.
* Darianna Littlepage-Buggs inched closer to the 1,000-point marker on Sunday, coming within one point of the milestone. The junior’s seven points on the day puts her at 999 in her career, and she paired them with eight rebounds and three assists.

* Baylor held Cincinnati, a team that averages over four per game, to zero 3-pointers, a second for this roster and the second time for a Collen squad at BU.
* The Bearcats’ six-point unanswered run in the second quarter was their strongest push of the night and was the second-smallest run allowed in league play from Baylor.
* Collen is 92-33 in her fourth season leading the Bears, 45-19 in Big 12 play.
* Collen is 22-8 in the month of February.
* Baylor used the familiar lineup of Darianna Littlepage-Buggs, Jada Walker, Sarah Andrews, Aaronette Vonleh and Bella Fontleroy as its first five for the 22nd time this season.
* Littlepage-Buggs is 55-15, Walker is 44-13, Andrews is 89-34, Fontleroy is 39-15 and Vonleh is 18-5 as starters at Baylor.
